"When I first found out about stepUP in 2002 from my Mum I initially thought 'no way, I'm not wasting 2 days of my holidays". And that's the way I viewed stepUP until the day came. I think that everyone was probably thinking it was going to be like school. BIG MISTAKE. It was nothing like school, just the opposite. I went away from stepUP feeling enthusiastic and alive. I went back to stepUP in 2003 and came away thinking of things I could do to turn my life around. In November 2003 I attended a stock market seminar ... and came away from that and started to trade shares on the American stock market ... I made $10,000 US in 6 days! ... I have one thing to say stepUP was a life changer! And I am forever grateful ... Thank you!"

"I went to stepUP in February 2004. I think it should be compulsory for all teens! It is the most awesome, inspirational thing I've ever done. At stepUP you are treated so differently, they really do believe in you. All you need is for someone to believe in you and they truly do. They speak to you like you are people. They treat you as if you are the future and that you can achieve anything - and you will. That's what they teach you, that's what they make you believe and they teach you the skills to get there! They truly do know and understand what teens are all about and what they want.
It was amazing. I left totally inspired. I didn't just feel, I KNEW I can do anything I want if I simply believe. Always believe in yourself and never ever give up. Totally amazing! Probably the best decision I've ever made!"

"I attended stepUP not knowing anything about what it was going to be like. My doubt was that it was going to be like school (a regimented routine).
This was something I definitely didn't want seeing as I was on holidays. I showed up on the day to see something totally different to school. Music was playing and our coaches were jumping up and down on their chairs waving their group numbers in the air. Hundreds of teenagers like me were running around trying to find their groups. It was so lively. Over the two days we had speakers ... who were so enthusiastic and entertaining. All of the speakers brought amazing insight and knowledge to the stepUP event. It was such an amazing experience. It opened my eyes to see that I can achieve anything I want to. The most useful thing I got out of stepUP is: "if it's possible for you, then it's possible for me, it's just a matter of how!".
(I must have said that a hundred times during the 2 days). I would recommend this amazing event to everyone. You get so much out of it (including a disco at the end and lots of prizes). stepUP changes lives, it's the best thing you can do on your holiday, so go now!"
